Overview
Our comprehensive seven-step process guides you from initial site analysis through final installation and ongoing support, creating outdoor spaces that perfectly blend with your lifestyle and vision. We believe in transparent communication, detailed planning, and close collaboration with our clients at every stage. This thoughtful approach has earned us a reputation for excellence and helped us build lasting relationships with homeowners throughout Utah.
1. Site Analysis
Bob and one of his designers will schedule a time to walk your property with you, gaining a comprehensive understanding of your project. During this visit, we'll take digital photos of views and sightlines from both inside and outside your home, identifying areas you want hidden and spaces requiring privacy screening from neighbors. Four Seasons dedicates time to advanced planning and suggestions, carefully considering wind, water, and sun exposures. These observations, combined with your feedback, help us create an initial landscape plan.
2. Functional Planning
During the functional planning stage, we establish the primary uses of your landscape. We'll introduce optional elements such as patios, gardens, concrete work, pergolas, trellises, and stonework. We'll meet with you again for a complimentary site walk to refine our analysis, offering suggestions for different features while carefully noting your feedback.
3. Conceptual Design
Our designers will develop several conceptual designs featuring the basic shapes and elements of your landscape. This process involves multiple revisions and meetings between you and your landscape designer to ensure we capture your vision.
4. Site Plan and Planting Plan
After you approve the conceptual design, your designer will create a detailed final site plan with a comprehensive planting schedule.
5. The Bid
Using the site plan and planting schedule, we create a detailed bid that clearly lists all materials and features to avoid any surprises. We work closely with you during this phase to ensure the project meets your budget. We're committed to your vision and will adjust elements as needed to align with your financial parameters.
6. Installation
Once the bid is accepted, we'll discuss the start date by comparing our schedule with yours to find a compatible time. Depending on the project's scope, installation typically takes between a week to one month.
7. Product Support
Upon project completion, we will thoroughly educate you about your entire landscape. We take great pride in our work and follow up frequently to ensure your satisfaction. Whether you have questions within days or years after completion, we're always happy to help. Our goal is to create lifelong client relationships.
